Naked 1815

Naked 1815 — Spruce wood panel worked entirely by hand, measuring 30 × 30 cm.

The surface is carved slowly, hole by hole, to create a dense texture of 1815 holes. A gesture repeated for hours transforms the wood into a vibrant surface, where every mark is a form of life emerging from the material.

Natural oil penetrates the wood, bringing out its authentic colour, grain and depth without altering its essence. Light continually reveals new nuances, making the work feel alive and in constant dialogue with its space.

Naked 1815 emerges from a slow, patient process in which the number of holes and the time spent working build a living, magnetic surface.
