Ultramarine Blue R 7620 — Spruce wood panel worked entirely by hand, measuring 40 × 60 cm.

The surface is carved slowly, hole by hole, to create a dense texture of 7620 holes. A gesture repeated for hours transforms the wood into a vibrant surface, where every mark is a form of life emerging from the material.

Coloured oil penetrates the wood and its cavities, creating variations of blue that change with the light and the angle of the viewer’s gaze.

Ultramarine Blue R 7620 emerges from a slow, patient process in which the number of holes and the time spent working build a living, magnetic surface.
