About / Diego Dri
Matter, gesture, transformation.

Diego Dri develops a practice between art, sculpture and contemporary design.
A DAMS graduate in 2005, after a professional career in the commercial sector, since 2022 he has devoted himself fully to his artistic practice.
Tarlo is the first body of work: a language of cavities and traces inspired by the marks left in wood by wood-boring organisms. Carving, repetition, colour and light transform the surface and alter its perception.
The practice now extends to new materials, volumes and forms of light. Every work is unique, intended for private collections or developed in dialogue with spaces and professional projects.
